Route A Beijing-Xi'an

Day 1

 

Transferred to the airport for flight to Xi'an. Visit the ※Eighth Wonder of The World§, the Terra-cotta Warriors & Horses Museum .

Day 2

 

In the morning transferred to Shijing Irrigation District for visit Jinghui Channel and Baojixia Irrigation built in 1930`s .

Day 3

Route B Sichuan-Chongqing-Yangtze Cruise-Yichang

Day 1

Fly to Chengdu, transfer to Leshan City, for a half-day tour in Grand Buddha Scenic Spot.

Day 2

 

Transfer to Dujiangyan City by bus. Bird-eye view of the whole system, visit Erwang Temple, then enjoy a walking through Anlan Suspension Bridge. Return Chengdu for the transfer to Chongqing.

Day 3

 

Get on the cruiser for the start of your Yangtze River Journey. Cruise to Fengdu, the "Ghost City", and view the temples at Mingshan Hill. Over night in the Cruiser*****

Day 1

 

Fly to Hefei in the morning. Upon arrival, transferred to Liu'an for visit the Pishihang Irrigation District , stay in Liu'an.

Take a morning bus ride to the magnificent Yellow Mountain, which is undoubtedly China's most celebrated mountain for all its grandeur and beauty.

Xi'an

 

Xian is one of China's six ancient capital cities.Just outside of Xian is the tomb of Emperor Qin Shihuang (259-210 BC). One of the world's greatest archeological sites, the tomb is best-known for the some 6,000 large terra-cotta figures of soldiers and horses found buried around the tomb.

 

 

Chongqing

 

Yangtze River originates from the Qinghai-Tibet plateau with a total length of 6,380km. After joining with Min River, Tuo River and Jialing River at Sichuan Basin, it passes through steep mountain ranges where forms the world famous magnificent Three Gorges.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Shanghai

 

Shanghai is a famous tourist destination with more than 300 tourist attractions. The Bund, Yu Garden, Jade Buddha Temple, ancient pagodas and temples in ancient towns of Longhua have been always the major scenic spots in Shanghai for tourists from home and abroad.

Guilin

 

Li River Cruise: The Li river threads through towering hills. The clear shallow river runs past lush bamboo trees, buffalos, paddy fields and simple villages; fishermen using cormorants to catch fish.

Luoyang

 

Founded in AD 496 during the Northern Wei dynasty, the Shaolin Temple was built in honor of an Indian monk called Bodhidharma , founder of the Mahayana sect of Buddhism or more popularly known as Chinese Chan Buddhism. This temple is therefore regarded as the birthplace of Chinese Buddhism.

Hangzhou

 

Hangzhou's famerests mainly with the picturesque West Lake, so named because it is located in its western fringe. Covering about four square mile s , West Lake is surrounded on three sides by rolling wood hills.

Kunming

 

The Stone forest belongs to the typical Karst geomorphology, it consists of innumerable bizarre-shaped ancient limestone cliffs and peaks created by wind and water erosion some 200 million years ago, and this area is praised as the "First Wonder Under Heaven".

About Beijing

Beijing, the capital of China, is a world-famous city with a history of over 3,000 years. Beijing is situated at 40 degrees north latitude and 116 degrees east longitude. It is 43 meters above sea level and 183 kilometers from the sea. Beijing covers an area of 16,800 square kilometers, 38% of which is flat land and 62% is mountains. Beijing has a continental climate. Annual rainfall averages nearly 700 millimeters most of which is in July and August. Winter is dry and cold and has little snow.

It covers an area of 16,800 sq.km with a population of some 11 million. After the 12th century, the Jin, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties selected Beijing as their Capital. The continuous construction by each dynasty has left Beijing huge number of cultural relics and ruins of historic interest such as palaces, gardens, houses of the nobilities, temples and mosques, towers and pavilions, memorial archways and stone carvings, tombs and the gardens attached.

Beijing has its own individuality - Flavor of Beijing. The quadrangle, small alley, tricycle, boiled mutton, roast duck, Peking Opera, arts and crafts... You can see, hear and feel them all only when you come to Beijing. Beijing with its ancient style and fascinating scenery welcomes you all the time.

Tourists Attractions in Beijing

 

 

The Ming Tombs are a group of mausoleums of 13 Ming emperors. The underground burial chamber of Ming Emperor Wanli is open to the public since excavation in 1956.

 

 

The Great Wall was originally built in 221 BC. It is said to be the only man-made structure visible from the moon. The section of Juyongguan we are going to visit was built in the 15th century during the Ming Dynasty and repaired recently.

 

The Forbidden City was the political center of China for nearly 500 years. Today, It remains as the most complete and best-preserved collection of ancient buildings in China. The Temple of Heaven has been called the noblest example of religious architecture in China.

 

 

 

 

The Tiananmen Square is an enormous square facing the Gate of Heavenly Peace. It is the heart of modern Beijing.

 

 

The summer Palace is the most completely preserved imperial garden in China. Kunming Lake is inside the park. The park has some 3,000 rooms and halls in buildings which were used as residence and reception compounds for the emperor during summer time.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Lama Temple is the center of learning for the Yellow Hat sect of Tibetan Lamas with considerable religious and political sway. Today there are some 70 Mongolian lamas tending the temple.

 

 

 

Peking Opera has entertained Beijingers for over 200 years with its elaborate costumes, ear-splitting arias, dazzling martial arts and musical dialogue. They are usually based on folk tales, famous novels and fairy tales. The theater has a subtitle message board of English and Chinese.

 

One of the most famous mammals in the world, the giant panda is meek and looks like a bear. With the exception of its shoulders, its limbs and the rims of its ears and eyes which are black, this lovable animal is white all over.
